STC update

All of us at Sydney Theatre Company are hugely saddened by the impacts on the theatre industry from the escalating Coronavirus pandemic. Already, so many terrific performances and events have been cancelled around the country.

We are incredibly disappointed to have had to cancel the remaining Sydney performances of No Pay? No Way! and the Queensland season of Triple X . This decision was not made lightly, however our first priority is and always will be the health and wellbeing of our patrons, our employees, and the community at large.

We want to send our support and best wishes to all our fellow artists and colleagues, especially our industry's many freelancers. We also want to acknowledge the great support and encouragement we have received from our ticket buyers and donors during this complex and difficult period.

These are uncertain times. One thing we can be sure of, however, is that theatre is a necessary and vital space where communities are built, nurtured and maintained. Its importance will only continue to grow as we look to the future. Rest assured that we will be back and producing shows as soon as it is safe and advisable to do so.
