Bangarra Dance Theatre arrives in Melbourne with their latest work, described by the Herald Sun as ‘a triumph’,Our land people stories. The Australian Ballet opensNijinsky in Melbourne the following week before touring to Adelaide and Sydney. The ballet is a tour de force for the whole company, especially the male dancers, who are given the opportunity to evoke the great dancer’s distinctive style.

Across the oceans the State Theatre Company of South Australia in collaboration with UK’s Frantic Assembly commences its English season ofThings I Know To Be True and Sydney Dance Company’s collaboration with Germany’s Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company,Lux Tenebris, opens in Frankfurt on September 8.
