West Australian Opera opens with a spectacular new production ofFaust while Musica Viva presents Modigliani Quartet (all the way from France), Adelaide Symphony Orchestra performsMendelssohn’s Dream and the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra performs with celebrated violinist Ricardo Minasi as guest conductor and soloist.

This month is also a first in family programming for Black Swan State Theatre Company withThe Red Balloon opening on the west coast while Queensland Ballet opens a family favouriteThe Sleeping Beauty on the east coast and Bangarra begins its regional tour ofKinship on the Queensland Gold Coast.
