The Musica Viva Storybook showcases inspiring stories and important moments in Musica Viva’s history, along with images and sounds from the last 70 years, and looks forward to the future.
“Just how this organisation has become the world’s largest presenter of chamber music is the combination of so many similar stories of vision, generosity and passion for the arts,” says Musica Viva’s Chief Executive Officer, Mary Jo Capps.
“We encourage everyone to visit our digital history of Musica Viva online atmusicavivastorybook.com.au.
“You can also tell us your Musica Viva story via firstname.lastname@example.org and be part of the celebrations and of the future.”
The Musica Viva Storybook is being launched to coincide with the commencement of the Goldner String Quartet tour, which sees Musica Viva highlight Australia’s pre-eminent chamber ensemble in its 20th anniversary year; the Quartet named in honour of Musica Viva’s founder, Richard Goldner.
