June Sneak Peeks 2015

There's no slowing down in the colder month of June for the major performing arts, with new works lore and Battle of Waterloo, the Australian premiere of both Birdland and Love and Information and classics from Mozart, Wagner and Cherubini to be performed around the country.

Also on the move, Sydney Theatre Company and Qld Ballet are preparing for performances in the UK in June and August. Just back to Australia, senior representatives from WASO travelled to Beijing in May as guests of the China Philharmonic Orchestra to attend their special anniversary concert and to develop the next stage of their partnership. Sydney Symphony Orchestra's chamber group is also returning from performing at the May Festival at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. SSO's senior representatives went on to visit the Shanghai Orchestra Academy in the first activity to take place under their new shared MOU.

There's a lot more going on beyond our own brief snap shot including ASOFestival of Learning, TSO's special children's concerts and MSO and WASO's fun filled education weeks - for a full view visit our performance calendar on the link above.

Kind regards,
Bethwyn Serow Executive Director
Australian Major Performing Arts Group
