We are especially proud of the work by our members—finalists and award winners.

Best Mainstage Production was awarded to Sydney Theatre Company’s production ofWaiting for Godot, which also won Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Mainstage Production (Luke Mullins).

Harriet Dyer won Best Actress in a Leading Role of a Mainstage Production for her role in STC’sMachinal, which was also awarded Best Lighting Design (Verity Hampson).

Susan Prior won Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Mainstage Production for Belvoir’sSmall and Tired.

Best New Australian Work was awarded to STC’sThe Secret Riverby Andrew Bovell, based on the novel by Kate Grenville, and the Best Newcomer Award was given to Elizabeth Debicki in STC’sThe Maids.

STC’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead won Best Stage Design in a Mainstream Production, as well as Best Costume Design.

School Dance (Windmill Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company in association with Sydney Festival) was awarded Best Production for Young People.
