From a teacher's perspective education is all about being excited about something. Seeing passion and enthusiasm helps reinforce our goals of positive educational outcomes for all students. Through our involvement with the Young Aboriginal Women's Program we have certainly sparked that enthusiasm for learning. Scott Burton, Wannik Dance Academy Coordinator emphasises the need for a positive environment—that is, onethat highlights self-worth, the necessity to attend school each day, and motivates students to engage in a positive education experience to lead to further studies and future employment.
