Australian Brandenburg Orchestra update

As many of you would be aware, performance venues across Australia have closed as one of the numerous measures governments are putting in place to slow the spread of COVID-19. We also wish to assure you that the wellbeing of our audiences and employees is of the utmost importance for the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.

With the Government’s restriction on non-essential mass gatherings now limited to 100 people, our three major performance venuesQPAC (Brisbane), Melbourne Recital Centre (Melbourne) and City Recital Hall (Sydney) have all closed. In addition, we have received a mandatory Public Health Order from the NSW Government to prevent us performing any further concerts until 14 June 2020.

As a result, we have cancelled Series 2, Mozart’s Clarinet.

We will endeavour to contact all ticket holders in the coming weeks. If you need to contact our Box Office, please do so only by emailing tickets@brandenburg.com.au

You will find the latest updates on our response to COVID-19 on our website here:brandenburg.com.au/updates

These uncertain times will have a significant impact on our live performance industry and we stand with our arts community in this crisis. In the coming weeks, we will be working on ways to continue to bring you the joy and the beauty of Baroque music until the concert halls can re-open.
