AMPAG congratulates its Board member, Rowan Ross, who was awarded an AM for significant service to arts governance, and to business in the Queen's Birthday Honours list yesterday.

Mr Ross, who is an executive director of Macquarie Capital and was previously BT chair, has been the chair of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra since 2006 and was a board member and then chair of the Sydney Dance Company between 1989 and 2002.

Katie Lahey, a director of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and chief executive of the Business Council of Australia from 2001 to 2011, was named a member of the Order of Australia for her services to business and commerce, and to the arts.

Ms Lahey has been a director of the Australia Council Performing Arts Board and a director of the Sydney Festival.
