Congrats to Adelaide Critics Circle award winners

Congrats to the winners of the Adelaide Critics Circle Awards, announced this week. Special mention must go to the winner of the Professional Group category: the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, for its production of Salome, conducted by Arvo Volmer.

And to actor Paul Blackwell who was singled out for his performance as a physics professor diagnosed with dementia in Vere, a new play written by John Doyle which was produced by both State Theatre Company of SA and Sydney Theatre Company.
Actor Jordan Cowan won the Emerging Artist category for his performance in The Dark Room, a co-production between The State Theatre Company and Flying Penguin.
