We All Play a PartThe We All Play a Part campaign is an initiative highlighting the importance of a strong performing arts sector for Australia in the 21st Century.
On this website you will find information on current broad-based campaigns and issues, including who is doing what on a number of fronts and how you can be involved. We also provide resource material and links to other relevant agencies and campaigns.
As audiences, performers, students, teachers, backstage crew or volunteers, we all play a part in Australia’s performing arts industry.
Each year, nearly 16 million admissions are issued to concerts, theatre, opera, musicals and dance performances in venues in the cities, suburbs and country towns around the country. But the performing arts is not just about enjoying the show. Research indicates that the performing arts plays an important role in contributing skills to our workforce, improves our kids’ education, boosts the economy and builds stronger communities. We can all play a part to campaign for a stronger performing arts industry and its future success.
