The MSO is now recruiting for The Pizzicato Effect - Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s (MSO) flagship afterschool community music program. It provides free string instrumental and musicianship tuition to children living in the City of Hume council region in Victoria, Australia.
The Besen Family Artist Program is offered as professional development for early to mid-career artists who seek experience in observing specific productions or ongoing artistic work within a mainstage theatre company. Now in its 13th year, this program has cultivated a new generation of ambitious theatre-makers.

Within our Venue Management Team at Perth Concert Hall we have created a tertiary-level work experience opportunity for a Marketing, Arts Management or Public Relations student (ideally in their 3rd or 4th year) to work alongside our Marketing Team and participate in a range of marketing activities and administration tasks as part of a co-curriculum placement or industry relevant work experience placement.
The Director Operations is a senior strategic member of TSO’s leadership team reporting to the Managing Director. The successful appointee will provide direction, insight, and overall business strategies and solutions for the Operations Department which covers orchestra coordination, production and music library.
The CRM Coordinator is responsible for delivering Opera Australia’s direct marketing strategy through email and direct mail campaigns; coordinating Opera Australia’s subscriber care program, and audience engagement and evaluation activities; and maintaining and optimising Opera Australia’s customer data.
The Competitions Producer is responsible for the successful delivery of the 2018 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition (MICMC). Part Time Fixed Term Contract to December 2018 0.8FTE (maximum 30 hpw)
