Out from Under—taking the stigma out of mental health

Out from Under, an event aimed at removing the stigma surrounding mental health within the entertainment industry, will feature dozens of artists and presenters, as well as a performance by The Australian Ballet choreographed by company member Alice Topp.

Out from Under—taking the stigma out of mental health

To be held on 21 September at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne, the event will be hosted by Julia Zemiro, and will include artists and presenters such as iOTA, Daniel MacPherson, Dami Im and Debra Byrne.

Out From Under is not only an evening of entertainment, but one of education and awareness.

Joining the performers onstage will be psychologists and leading experts in mental health, to help recognise the warning signs and symptoms, and how to assist.

The Australian Ballet School's psychologist consultant,Lucinda Sharp, will participate in a panel withpsychologist and mental health advocateDr Michael Carr-Gregg and others.

Funds raised from this event will help Entertainment Assist support the mental health of Australian entertainment industry workers.
