TAB and SOH join to nurture female choreography talent

In 2018, The Australian Ballet appointed Alice Topp as a resident choreographer. In 2019, the company, in partnership with Dance Australia and the Sydney Opera House, will take the next steps towards discovering and nurturing female talent, starting with an important initiative for up-and-coming classical dancemakers.

If you’re a classically trained dancer/choreographer and would like to see your work showcased by The Australian Ballet, this could be you.

The successful candidate will recieve

  • A research and development residency at the Sydney Opera House
  • A commission to create a work for The Australian Ballet's Bodytorque season
