As the Federal Government nears the end of its consultation process with the not-for-profit sector, AMPAG has continued to advocate for less red tape and simplified compliance for its member companies.
In readiness for the start of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission in July this year, the government is fine tuning its draft ACNC legislation.
In the past week, AMPAG has submitted two more responses to government reviews—one to the Review into NFP governance arrangements, and one to the ACNC Bill’s exposure draft.AMPAG has also called for the arts to be represented on the ACNC’s Advisory Board.
